Natural Lake Superior Gemstones and Crystals...
We have 'picked' all of these pieces on the shores of Lake Superior. Each comes with a basalt base to display the stone. This is ancient bedrock basalt, part of the Canadian Shield, powerful in itself.
None of these pieces have been cut or tumbled. They have only been gently hand polished with essential oils. Because they are among the most ancient stones, over one billion years old, some do not need tumbling to show their beauty. They have been gently tumbled by Lady Lake Superior for the last billion+ years. The stones are not 'oily'. They are dry and smooth to the touch. The prehnites, while not as smooth as the unakite or thomsonite, absorb the oils and have a magical sparkle. All pieces are shown with a coin, to demonstrate size. They are exceptional specimens. If the stones dull, simply renew their beauty with your favorite essential oil!
