Autumn Water Leaves
Peter: I was out shooting photos with Stephanie, an excellent photographer and our daughter-in-law, married to Barbara's son, Ian Griebel. We randomly turned on a logging road near Eagle Harbor, got out and wandered around. I saw this juxtaposition of lines and colors on top of, and under rippling water in a tiny run-off. The only image I completely liked this day.
Barbara: As I worked with this image, I felt more and more a sense of stasis, of the cessation of time. The elements of the photo, the rippling water, the amazing colors, and inherent vibrancy, capture for one brief instant, Autumn's perfection.
